Managing the care of a loved-one living with any form of dementia is one of life’s most difficult challenges. For the care-partner and the individual living with dementia, stress can pile up daily. As a result, families may exhaust themselves (physically, emotionally, and financially) caring for a loved one, unaware of the many supports available to them and those with living with dementia. Audubon Counseling provides assistance to individuals and families who are struggling with substance abuse and/or misuse. We do this by utilizing evidence-based practices which enable us to both identify root causes and subsequently develop solutions for these issues. By taking a holistic approach, we are able to provide both sustainable support and education on how substance use negatively impacts physical and mental health as well as overall quality of life.
