Susan Kushner Wolfson, LMSW
Susan Kushner Wolfson, LMSW, has a B.A. in psychology from the University of Michigan and an M.S.W. degree from University of Buffalo. She has 20 years of experience in individual and group counseling. Susan worked as an advocate and therapist for at-risk families around Western New York and then in Manhattan. She was as a supervisor and counselor in a domestic violence shelter in New Jersey and ran a domestic violence outreach program in Niagara County. She has run numerous parenting support groups in various locations as well. Susan specializes in adult mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, improving self-esteem and assertiveness and assisting with parenting struggles. She also works with clients who are going through separation, divorce or other relationship difficulties. Susan also sees older teens and many college students in her practice, understanding that these groups have a unique set of needs. Susan has built her practice on her ability to build positive relationship with clients while offering support through life’s many challenges.
